The U.S. Department of State's Embassy Accra, Ghana announces an open competition to implement programs that advance U.S.-Ghana bilateral relations and U.S. foreign policy priorities in Ghana and West Africa. This funding opportunity supports projects that align U.S.-Ghana economic and commercial engagement with core U.S. interests, secure U.S. borders through law enforcement collaboration and informed travel, counter malign actors who threaten U.S. interests in the region while promoting Ghana's transition to self-sustainability. Target audiences include emerging voices (youth, students, young professionals), established opinion leaders (business executives, academics, policymakers, military leadership), press and media professionals, and partner organizations (NGOs, think tanks, business associations, universities, law enforcement). Programs should demonstrate clear contributions to U.S. foreign policy priorities and positively impact America's reputation among Ghanaian government partners and publics.
